The Grocer on Elgin looks a bit like a futuristic
supermarket. There are mains, soups, sides and salads arranged in the most
meticulous fashion-in rows upon colourful rows. The Grocer is quite forward
thinking. The idea is that The Grocer preps a meal for you, packages it in a
clear plastic container (so you can admire the contents) and then you take it
home and simply re-heat it or eat/serve as is. It’s a way to cut corners if you just cant be asked to
cook. If you can’t be asked to leave the house either, they also run a
delivery service to a select few postcodes in the West London area. Prices are
fairly cheap, with all products less than £10.
